How do you clean K-Rend?

Soft wash only. Apply a sodium-hypochlorite based biocide at low pressure, let it dwell, then rinse with pure water at low pressure. Never use a jet wash, it ruins the silicone finish and opens the surface to water.

Can you clean monocouche render?

Yes, same soft-wash method as K-Rend, with biocide dilution tuned for the through-coloured surface. Pressure washing monocouche pulls colour out and shows immediately.

How much does render cleaning cost?

Most semi-detached homes are £180,£450 depending on render area and access. Detached homes with full wraps run £450,£900.

Will the algae come back?

Most properties stay clean for 3,5 years. Shaded, north-facing or tree-lined walls are quicker to regrow, we offer a top-up biocide spray every 2 years on a maintenance plan.

Will it damage my windows or plants?

No. The biocide is plant-safe at our dilution; window frames and gutters are rinsed clear before we finish.

Do you charge a callout fee for CV9?

No. Atherstone, Mancetter, Hartshill and Witherley are all normal round pricing.

Should I scrape moss off my roof myself?

Please do not. Scraping breaks the surface of concrete tiles and makes moss return faster. A soft treatment kills it and lets it weather off.

North Warwickshire crew, same prices, no callout fee.

render cleaning in Atherstone, what we actually find here

The housing round here. North Warwickshire market town with older brick terraces near the centre and a spread of post-war and modern housing through Mancetter and Hartshill.

Why Atherstone exteriors get dirty. Canal and countryside on the doorstep keeps humidity up, and the older roofs around the centre carry a lot of moss on the shaded pitch.

Access and pricing. Compact town plots, so most jobs are quick and priced accordingly.

Covering CV9, including Mancetter, Hartshill, Witherley, Grendon.

Why professional render cleaning matters

Modern thin-coat render, K-Rend, Weber, Parex, Wetherby, is sensitive. Pressure washing scours it, opens the surface to water ingress and ruins the finish. The right method is soft wash: a biocide that kills the algae and red lichen at root, followed by a gentle rinse. The render returns to its original colour over a few weeks as rain carries the dead growth away.
